I have avoided using the product. If you watch the many videos put out about the product it always shows that a deep water approach is needed. PooPourri is sprayed on the water surface to form a "barrier" and when "the astronauts splash down" the odor is trapped. No bad odor just a flowery fragrance.

We are very stingy with the amount of water we use. Does the product still work without the deep water approach?
