When camping we tend to use the AC to cool off the rig to put the kids to bed, even if the outside temps are dropping. We found on our last trip this meant when the overnight temps kept dropping we would wake up cold because when we went to bed the t-stat was set to cool.

I don’t find it has that capability like a Nest. Basically, it’s able to Bluetooth to your phone or iPad all of the controls of the thermostat in a fancy app. The advantage is being able to not wake all the way up and trip over the dog to turn the heat on. I can open one eye, hit the app and the red flames icon and go back to sleep. Plus the large print color display is easy to see vs the factory.
