We are planning a trip to Utah soon to meet two of my daughters and SIL. They all have portable gas grills that use the 1 pound bottles. We plan on doing lots of grilling.

One SIL prepares a dynamite Grilled Shrimp dish. First the Bacon is cooked about 90%. Each Shrimp is peeled, deveined and a slightly hot Jalapeno is inserted. These are wrapped with the partially cooked Bacon slices and put on the grill. I told him, these are a must for one night.

The second SIL likes Scallops and he gets some giant ones from the NW. He also wraps these with Bacon and grills them.

I'm planning on grilling Pork Loins one night.

So, we will be using lots of one pound bottles for the grills. If we run out of gas, I'll fill them on site.
