That's my concern too. I always have a Jeep in tow so I just carry an extra 20 pounder to use for the grill and rotate out for the furnace. I guess I'm different , at Quartzsite I kept my furnace setting between 50 to 55 at night and was comfortable.

We set our furnace at 55 at night also. But, it was nice to come in and warm our hands next to the Buddy Heater. Kinda like having a wood stove. We only used it when awake.

The weather in December at Q was cold at night and cloudy and windy during each day. That was the first time I couldn't get my batteries back full, lol.

Now, with more solar and Lithium, that shouldn't be a problem.

Are you going again this Dec?
