I just recently received FlameKing’s 1lb Refillable Cylinder Kit.
A while back we spent a month at Quartzsite and used a Mr. Buddy portable heater to supplement our furnace. This worked out great, except we were going through a 1 lb bottle per day. We also used a portable grill that uses the same 1lb bottles.
A friend told me about FlameKing’s Kit to fill their refillable bottles. Their 1lb bottles have a bleed off valve to insure they are filled properly; not overfilled.
The Coleman disposable bottles are expensive and I’ve always been concerned about putting them in the trash. Their disposable bottles can be refilled, but they weren’t made for that purpose.
