How It Works:
Professional detailers and hardcore enthusiasts wash dirt from cars as gently as possible. The wrong touch pushes dirt around and grinds ugly scratches and swirls into the shiny finish. The TORQ Professional Foam Cannon Snow Foamer adds a blanket of super-slick and slippery car wash suds to lubricate any abrasive dirt particles. Prepare the TORQ Foam Cannon by filling the soap solution tank with water, then add 1-3 ounces of your favorite Chemical Guys car wash soap. Gently rinse down the car with water to remove any loose debris and grime, then attach the TORQ Foam Cannon Snow Foamer and cover the car with soapy suds. Fine tune the soap mixture knob to the desired foam thickness, and adjust the front fan nozzle to the perfect spread to quickly cover any vehicle. The bubbly soap begins to break down and lift stuck-on dirt and grime from the surface of the vehicle, surrounding it in slick car wash soap lubricants. As the foam slides down, it gently pulls the dirt to the ground before the detailer even touches the surface with a wash mitt.
My Review:
I LOVE THIS KIT! This has completely changed the way I wash my trailer and reduced the amount of time required to fully wash and dry my 2017 Lance 2185. I should note that it does require a pressure washer (Gas or electric but a minimum of 500 psi is required). I rinse the surface layer dirt using my SunJoe Electric pressure washer and a 40 degree tip. Then fill the foam cannon up with warm water and add 2-3 ounces of Snow Foam Auto Wash. Attach to the foam cannon to the pressure washer and get ready to have some fun. I know someone may comment that auto wash is not appropriate for a trailer; however, this wash is formulated for maximum foam and is trailer safe. The foam is amazing and coats the trailer in a thick foam layer.. The foam helps break down, bugs, grime, dirt, oils and road debris.
After foaming the trailer, I use a two bucket wash method; one bucket with with water and grit guard to rinse a microfiber wash mitt, and a second bucket with Honeydew soap and water, to clean the trailer. The rinse bucket ensures that I will not be picking up dirt and debris and spreading it back onto my trailer causing scratches. I have been able to cut my wash time down to about 20 minutes and the foam ensures that I do not miss any spots. I have tried many soaps and wash methods but have not been able to get the trailer as clean and shiny as I can with the Chemical Guys TORQ Foam Cannon & Honeydew Snow Foam Wash (See pics below). The kit can be purchased from Chemicalguys.com or Amazon for about $75 to $100. You can find cheaper foam cannons on Amazon for about $17 that probably work the same. The cost of a wash for my trailer in Southern California is about $100 plus tip. I feel that this kit, albeit expensive, is worth the money and will pay for itself over a wash or two.
