Reply to "Bow to Stern (BTS) Protectant"

UPDATE

Completed the job today with great results, other than certain areas of baked graphics. Did the cleaner/wax routine twice to frontal area and street side areas not done yesterday, then applied BTS 3 times with brief drying periods between and buffed as last step. All areas of white siding really do look as new which is amazing since this trailer has never been covered nor detailed since new Feb 2011. BTS helped those decal graphics "pop" except for gold tone stripes exposed to continuous sun. Unsure what Lance's industrial designer was thinking by specifying colors so susceptible to strong UV exposure. Blues and greys have held up fine. Rechecked the mentioned area on the backside again in direct light today where dealer decal graphics had been before. What a joy that there is absolutely no ghosting as reminder of dealer advertising gone a-muck.

So this afternoon, I ordered a 10' x 28' 70% shade cloth to protect roof area as well as backside down to bumper and frontal area down to rock guard material. As mentioned in my prior thread, this will be my "practical" alternative to fully covering with CalMark or similar cover. Overhead huge Ponderosa Pines tend to rain sap as well as constant dropping of needles and cone debris after grey squirrels have their way. I think the shade cloth will provide reasonable protection while not being difficult to handle nor to clean like a heavy sunbrella cover.
