We had some that worked the same way more or less on our vintage Airstream, all cast aluminum, single throw engagement.. they went with it when we sold it. Pod couldn't use them anyways. We bought the X-Chocks before the Lance came home.. Having camped with them, and without a few times, they make a huge difference. We have the stabilizer feet, and always try to chock up tight, but these, for us, really help. Notice it most when the dog leaves the dinette late at night to try to get in bed with us. 75 pounds dropping over 2 feet can shake the camper.. LOL
