I got one this fall from Camp World while it was on special. I put it for a few months during the winter. Took it off for my first camping trip, and so for we gone out twice and I'm not exactly sure when I should be putting back on again?

To whom that have one: do you put yours on all the time when not in use, or only when it's not in use for an extended amount of time? This means a camping trip every other month. I find it a PITA specially when I got to cover the things on the roof with baskets. For the first time I used duct tape to hold the laundry basket that covered the antenna , not a good idea! It left an ugly tape residue on the roof. What did others use?
