I'm an oldie with 40+ years of TCing and am still learning. My DW and I are somewhat newbies when it comes to rallies. They are a lot of fun meeting new friends and looking at modifications.

We're 2nd after Serge & Kelly!  It took us close to 9 hours to get home.  We has a great time meeting everyone!  Thank you to Serge & Kelly for showing us how to cook with Dutch ovens.  Your pineapple upside-down cake was delicious!  And a huge thanks to Chuck & Patti for organizing the rally!  Travel safe and Happy Trails...we'll see some of you next month in Lancaster at the Lance Factory Tour & BBQ!

Looks like I'm the first one back from the Oregon Rally. We were only 4 hours drive from the Rally. Wife and I met a bunch of great folks that I would camp with again in heartbeat. Chuck and Patti were fantastic host at this event. I would like say many thanks to WoodGlue for allowing us to use her site. Initially we had reserved in the F loop which would have put us so far that it would have been like camping alone. These loops are not joined at all, sometimes some loops are close, but not in this State park.

Greetings!

We left home yesterday and arrived here at Patrick's Point SP IN Trinidad CA for one night.  It rained a little bit overnight, so unfortunately that put a slight damper on our hike this morning.  In a couple of ours we're set to leave for Sunset Bay SP near Coos Bay.  We'll be here until Friday.  See you all on Friday!

Thanks to WoodGlue ,who has gracefully left me her site for this Rally. We will also be arriving Friday morning, this might be weird to some, but I can't wait to get there and hang out with people that share the same interest and show their mods. We are newbies and still learning.

Regretfully, we have to cancel.  My dad has a little medical issue that needs to be tended to.  This is lousy since we'd been planning on going to this rally for close to a year it seems!

It is so sad that our next door neighbor (Ashland) had to cancel! So I'll be the only one from the F loop, unless some one from the H loop cancels too, then I'll try to move closer.

Had to cancel our trip, hate to miss it.  Space 266F may now be available.  Looking forward to hearing all about the rally and seeing photos.

I'm definitely interested in the Sandland Dunes Tour!  Haven't done that in over 40 years LOL!  I think Bruce and Shannon already know I'm interested!

Congratulations on retirement....

We wish we could join you, we had a good time last year at LaPine.  Coincidentally, August 15 is my last day of work as I am retiring.  Then we will have time for more adventures with our Lance.  Hope you all have a good time and we will see you next year in Oregon>

Hi to all

If you have not been to the Summer in Oregon Camping Rally - This is a Camping trip (Rally) is just a fun get to gather and meeting of friends from past rally’s and to meet new ones from this rally  We give you the days to do and see what you want.

We ask that you try and join us for the evening times so that we all can make friends and talk over the good and fun times we have had. Also a lot about our Lance modifications - you have done and you would like to do.

If you want to take the better half or just yourself out a for Evening  of Dine – Wine – Dance – CASINO one or all of them - then please let us know so that we won’t be waiting for you at camp, then go and have a lot of fun

We a going to have a Potluck and Desert  get together Sat. evening August 16th at about 6:00pm at Space 373. Please bring a dish and a desert. Also your plates, silverware, chairs, and beverage of your choice.

For the Potluck please bring you favorite dish  also some type of side dish

and a your favorite desert .

This Potluck and Desert will be a surprise for us all and it should be fun

As a new members the wife and decided to join all of you, but  unfortunately we found out about this rally a couple of days ago and we me our reservation as soon as we could. There are no lot available in the area were all the activities are to take place. We still went ahead and booked  lot #258 in the F loop which I believe put us not to far from the action. We will be arriving Friday and leaving Sunday or Monday , have not decided yet for the extra day.
BTW I started Dutch Oven cooking and we really like it! Planning to share some of it at the potluck dinner.
